Accepting Your Story-Living Life with our Negative Labels

This last January, with help from a great friend, Jackie Palmer and my Class of 2015 Senior Reps, I launched Be the Voice.  A campaign to help us all learn to love who we are, accept others and their differences and make a real impact in this world.  Since then I have been cultivating a program that I would like to implement in middle and high schools to help children work through their feelings towards themselves and others.  Give kids positive tools to accept their strengths and use them to help this world.  While planning this program I came across so many obstacles that make us question who we are, and what we should look like and how we should act. ...
