I am so excited to finally get down to it and introduce you all to my amazing Class of 2018 Dream Team.  Each January, I have individual meetings with the new Dream Team Class to go over the program, chat about senior pictures, and all other details of what our time together will be like.  

We also do a small session in the studio to get the girls familiar with my photography style, direction and get them more comfortable in front of the camera, and ultimately working with me.  As part of this mini session I try to get other small businesses, or individuals from around the Jackson County area involved, so we can bring awareness to them as well.  I love helping small businesses that are doing great things in this community.

This year we have teamed up with Wendy Clifton from A Frame Above and 180 Chic Boutique.  I have known Wendy for almost 8 years now, since I moved to Jackson and opened a store front studio in downtown Jackson.  Wendy was always very open to helping me, and even giving my portrait clients a discount for using her framing services.  I have been so grateful of our friendship and the services she has provided me throughout the years.  

Recently, Wendy added a new element to her beautiful framing business; boutique clothing, handbags, jewelry and accessories.  She also sells some amazing gift items in her shop too(MSU and UM lovers should head down and see what she has!).  I always find the best gifts for family and friends in there!

Cameron Kelley

       I have been lucky enough to work with Cameron for the last year as she joined the Dream Team Jr program as a sophomore.  It has been so fun seeing her transform into this young woman who in only a little over a year will be graduating from High School.  I can’t wait to see how her senior year unfolds, especially on the soccer field!  Cameron is wearing a blue flannel shirt and and glam purse and a black long shirt, scarf and hot pink purse from 180 Chic Boutique.

Carolann Brigham

    I am so excited to work with Carolann this year on the Dream Team. Not only is she a 3 sport athlete, she is in the National Honor Society and Student Council at her school.  I know having her around this year will inspire me to do better and go full speed into the things I care about.  It’s going to be an exciting year!  Carolann is wearing a long shirt/dress, necklace, earrings and red with snake skin accent purse.  She is also wearing a long lace tank top with beautiful cardigan with lace back from 180 Chic Boutique.

Carrie Beilfuss

    I couldn’t believe it when Carrie’s mom, Janet, messaged me and said her daughter Carrie would be applying for this years Dream Team.  I photographed Carrie’s older sister just 4 years ago and it seems like it isn’t time for Carrie to be a senior yet.  She is such a sweet young lady who is venturing out and trying new things. She just joined competitive cheer this year and I can’t wait to see her blossom more over the next year and half.  Carrie is wearing a long blue patterned tank and necklace and bohemian inspired sleeveless cardigan with tribal necklace.  All from 180 Chic Boutique.

Danielle Gleed

    Danielle is a passionate young lady who is committed to try new things and does not have the fear of failure hold her back.  She does many things in her school, like play varsity soccer, is a part of NHS and volunteers at Lyle Torrent.  I had a great time with Danielle at our first session and can’t wait to work with her over the next year and see what else she can accomplish!  Danielle is wearing a suede jacket, necklace and coral purse, as well as long vest that is reversible. Emma Grace

    Emma is also a Dream Team Jr Graduate and is now in the Senior Dream Team.  It is always amazing to me the drive this young lady has.  From the soccer field, to makeup talents, involvement in the Young Advisory Committee, and her love of her friends.  She is always happy and excited for our sessions.  I can’t wait for the next year together!  Emma is wearing a shimmery silver poncho with blue purse and long tan sweater dress, leopard scarf and necklace from 180 Chic Boutique.  

Hadlie Hinojosa

    Another Dream Team Jr Graduate, Hadlie is seriously one of the busiest girls I have.  Between playing school volleyball and softball, she is busy playing club volleyball too.  She also works.  Never does she seem to be tired(man I wish I had that kinda energy still!) and she is always happy at our sessions together!  I can’t wait to see what her senior year brings!  Hadlie is wearing a tie dye dress and necklaces with black purse, and a stunning grey/yellow ombre dress, scarf, necklace, bracelets and hot pink clutch from 180 Chic Boutique

Karena Coffie

    Oh man was our session fierce with Karena.  I am so excited to bring on this bubbly and kind young woman to the Dream Team. Not only is she involved with many things at her high school, she is a free spirit who is kind and seems to always be smiling. I cannot wait to work with her and hopefully some of that spirit of hers will become embedded into my soul.  Karena is wearing a faux fur vest with tribal necklace and a tie dye dress with puppy purse from 180 Chic Boutique.

Mikaylah Duffield

    This fun and beautiful young lady is also a graduate from the Dream Team Jr Program where I got to know how sweet she is.  She is a very outgoing young lady who seems to understand a lot of what is going on in this world.  I can’t wait to see how her senior year unfolds and how she continues to grow into the wonderful young lady she is.  Mikaylah is wearing a light tan cowl neck sweater, gold/silver necklace and teal purse, along with black long tank top, and large soft sweater cardigan with silver necklace and black purse.  All from 180 Chic Boutique.

Nicole Hamilton

    Nicole is such a kind and sweet girl who wants to live her life to the fullest.  She was a natural in front of the camera at our first Dream Team session together.  She also plays sports, is in National Honor Society, and in student government at her school.  I’m so excited to have her a part of  this years 2018 Dream Team!  Nicole is wearing a long grey sweater dress/shirt, purple/black tassel necklace, and blue croc purse and red flannel shirt from 180 Chic Boutique.
