So I'm starting a new journey in this blogging world.  I always wanted to blog, but when it came down to actually doing it, I failed...miserably.  I really wanted that to change.  So I sat and prayed and threw good vibes to the universe for anything that would help me along this journey.  I asked for more energy, more time, less confusion, basically everything I thought I was missing.

I got an answer..in the form of Alex Beadon.  (If you are a creative entrepreneur then you need to follow her..she is amazing).  I really wanted someone to help me in my business, and in my life, become passionate and more focused on what I was called to do.  I have always turned to other photographers(which I love by the way), but I really wanted something specific to business and my passions, not just photography centered.  I saw some of Alex's emails, blog posts, and ad's on Facebook, and I just felt the need to read more about her.  Come to find out through a periscope of hers, she used to be a photographer! Ironic right? But now is an entrepreneur helping other creative entrepreneur's find their voice and a passion for their businesses.

To cut to the chase here, I am challenging myself by blogging.  I'm not a good writer at all.  I hope you have made it to this line so far.  But I'm going to do it!  Our first mission was to write down all of the things that I am passionate to write about and tell the world. I made a large list and knew I could write about those things and feel good about it.

Then came the second mission..."blog post on one of the items that you listed that excites you the most to write about!"

Are you freaking kidding me?

Last night I sat with laptop on, and just stared blankely at the screen feeling totally uninspired.  I got really down. Maybe this was a bad idea.  I shouldn't have done this.  I have nothing to offer the world.

I decided to sleep on it and see what I could come up with in the morning.

This morning I decided that I have many passions, and right this second, for todays post,  I can't just narrow it down to one.  But I am passionate about telling you my story and what I plan to do. So here it goes!

If you decide to join my crazy train, I will write about...

My struggles-things I have issues with in hopes to inspire others that may be going through the same thing

My favorite products-Everyday I use items, or buy something amazing, and I want to share it with you.

DIY projects- I have always been a hands on girl, ever since I was little.  LOVE making things.  I get a huge boost of confidence when I can start a project and finish it. I want to take you along those journeys

Shelter Pets- I volunteer a lot of my time at our local Cascades Humane Society, and take photos of the available pets. We do a pet contest every year to raise money(this year we raised over $20,000)-I will share those with you!

Inspirations and motivations to help us love ourselves

Be the Voice Campaign and Be Real Stories

Behind the scenes on some of my fun creative shoots I put together

Client showcase-of course I have to show my amazing clients I get to work with!

Things that make my life easier

Tips to help your own photography

Fun people I meet and places I go.

Seriously just so many things!!!!

I'm a little bit crazy, and i"m ok with that.  So I have many things I am passionate about, and I am now dedicating myself to sharing them with you. Come join this crazy train I call my life.  Read about my Trainwreck Tribe on a past blog post.

I can totally relate to this. some of us photographers are photographers because we speak through images, not words! but I am learning that writing everyday and just putting it out there (thanks alex!) is what's up. YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO OFFER! especially excited for your shelter pets! I rescued my dog and I'm all about it. STRUGGLES too. life ain't pinterest people! struggle is real! thanks so much for your honesty and I look forward to reading more.
