Happy Birthday America!

Today we celebrate the independence of our great nation and the freedom we all know today.

This day, July 4th, 1776 marked a change for our country.

So I ask this question to you…

What does Freedom mean to YOU!?!?

Freedom to me is being able to wake up in the morning, and having the ability to live my life how I CHOOSE.

It’s the small things that make us free. Walking down the street with our children. Going to the grocery store that we choose. Have the kind of house that we want. We have the freedom to choose our job or education path.

You have the choice to do whatever YOU want. This is the real power of freedom.

Your life can be made into the one you want and the one you choose.

So choose wisely and with your heart.

Love often, laugh every chance you get, and be grateful for the life you now live.

Freedom also means loss and I hope as a nation we don’t forget that. The loss of others freedoms so that we can spend this day how we choose. The loss of those who still fight for our right to live each day to the fullest. The loss of those who will fight in the future. I salute you all who have given so much so that I may do what I choose today. You truly are the bravest there is and I am grateful for all of you and all that you have done, continue to do, and will do in the future.
